She is preceded in death by her husband, John Mathis; sons, David Mathis and Billy Mathis; parents, Dave and Kitty Sebring; and brother, Jim Sebring.
Survivors include daughters, Katherine (Terry) Hartman of Dayton, TN and Mandy Mathis; sons, Bo (Mary) Mathis and Ben Mathis; grandsons, Max Mathis and Chris Mathis; granddaughters, Chrystal Lowe all from Warrior, AL, Kristy (Isaac) Sims and Addisyn Mathis; 4 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She also left behind 3 dogs, Daisy, Gunner, and Fancy and 4 cats, Loki, Ziva, Echo, and Radar who brought her much comfort, joy, and love.
In lieu of flowers, friends wishing to honor Frances are invited to make a donation in her name to either the Animal Adoption Center of Blount County, 5554 Co Hwy 1, Cleveland, AL 35049, or St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 600 Beacon Pkwy W, Birmingham, AL 35209.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later time.
