She was employed as a Daycare Teacher at Quality Learning/Child Care Network for over 25 years.
Moneka was an outstanding team mom for Brainerd Bills Little League Football team.
She was preceded in death by her father, Earskin Stewart; mother, Anna Rose Stewart; and sister, Cassandra Tanner.
Moneka is survived by her husband, Rondreges ‘Rico’ L. Norwood; daughter, Cassidy Nicole Joann Lott; son, Cameron Elijah Stewart; daughter, Chelsey Desiray Stewart; son Journe Trevon Norwood; grandson, Machi Alexander Lott; granddaughter, Railei Alexandria Lott; a host of nephews, other relatives and friends.
A lie-in-state will be held at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services - Franklin Strickland Chapel, located at 1724 McCallie Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404, on November 25, 2025, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
The funeral service will follow at the same location on November 25, 2025, beginning at 12:00 pm.
