Nancy Lee Smith

December 26, 1938 – October 1, 2026

Nancy Ellis Smith, 87, passed away on October 1, 2026, leaving behind a family who loved her deeply and a lifetime of memories that will continue for generations.

Nancy was a woman of strong faith and a deep love for the Lord. Her faith was an important part of who she was and remained a source of strength throughout her life. Above all, Nancy loved her family wholeheartedly and treasured the life they shared together.

Nancy loved playing golf and dancing, and she enjoyed spending time with the people she loved. Throughout her 87 years, she had the blessing of watching her family grow from children, to grandchildren, and then great-grandchildren. To her family, she was lovingly known as Gran-Gran, a name that will forever hold a special place in their hearts.

Nancy was preceded in death by her beloved son, Christopher Holtcamp. Christopher remained forever a part of his mother’s heart, and her family finds comfort in knowing they are together again.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Nancy Carol Holtcamp; her grandchildren, Ashley Campbell Stiefel, Heather Campbell, Brittany Campbell, Courtney Campbell, Lauren Dees; and her great-grandchildren, Jackson, Ava, and Will Stiefel; Maddox and Anna Claire Vineyard; Brylie Brock; and Emorie White.

Nancy will be remembered for her unwavering faith in the Lord, her love and devotion to her family, her love of golf and dancing, and the many memories she created throughout a life well lived. Her love reached across generations, and the family she cherished will carry a part of Gran-Gran with them always.

Her family takes comfort in the faith she held so strongly and in knowing that she is now home with the Lord she loved.
