

He was born February 6, 1943, in Chattanooga to the late Mary and Neal Shull, Sr.
Neal was a United States Navy Veteran who served in the Vietnam War. He was particularly proud of his service as a Combat Medic (Corpsman - “Doc”) to the U.S. Marine Corps.
He was a devout Protestant who attended multiple churches in the community. He was an avid fisherman, outdoorsman and loved to dance. For many years he was a Boy Scout Leader with Ooltewah, TN Troop #147, and Apison, TN Troop #34. Neal was a Golden Gloves Boxer and was a State Champion wrestler for Red Bank High School.
His first wife, Donna G. DeLong Shull, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his loving wife of 10 years, Bonnie Shull; sons, Marshall (Carolina) Shull of Clermont, FL, and Lawrence Shull of Chattanooga, TN; three grandchildren, Abrahm Shull, Donovan Shull, and Mason Shull; step-daughters, Amanda Torres of Knoxville, TN, Christy Sharp of Kentucky; step-son Jeremy Jones of Bryant, AL; brother, Lawrence E. Shull of Hixson, TN; and niece, Stephanie Truitt of Hixson, TN.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
