Norma Harter McCollum

She was born in Greenville, PA and was a resident of Lookout Mountain, GA for 68 years. Norma retired after 20 years of working for Air & Hydraulics Equipment Co. as their secretary. She was a member of First Baptist Church Chattanooga for 35 years. Norma was also a volunteer at Memorial Hospital for 5 years. She loved watching the SEC network and the Atlanta Braves. Norma was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to all her family.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Ethel G. Harter; father, Glen A. Harter; and husband, Roy Eugene McCollum.

Survivors include sister, Linda Smith of Huntsville, AL; son, Glen McCollum of Lookout Mountain, GA; daughters, Sherrin McCollum (Beau) Meneley of The Woodlands, TX and Karen McCollum (Steve) Underwood of Ooltewah, TN; grandchildren, Tyler (Kim), Shellie (Levi), Mollie (Jonathan), Maddie, and Mallorie; and great-grandchildren, Tirzah, Hudson, Silas, Zion, Clark, and Cooper; nephews Randy McCollum, Tom Smith and John Smith.

A visitation will be held on Monday, April 24, 2023 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at First Baptist Church Chattanooga, 401 Gateway Avenue Chattanooga, TN. A memorial service will follow the visitation at 11:00 am at the church.
