I want to share my condolences with Grace, Sunil, Sahlin, and all family members and grandchildren of PK. He was my valued colleague in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He stood for his time dollar theory and social justice for all people, and was recruited to the University as a valued teacher and scholar. He had integrity and was passionate about his family and stood up to large institutions in the most admirable manner. The success of everyone is tribute to his legacy, and you should be very proud of your dad. May the blessings of St. Thomas be upon him. H. Lyn White Miles, Ph.D., UC Foundation Professor of Anthropology, University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, Chattanooga, TN

In the early 1970's, I had the privilege of being one of his sociology statistics students. I was also a work/study student in the sociology department. Dr. Geevarghese challenged me in his class, and could make me laugh when I worked for him. RIP kind Sir!

I'm so sorry to hear this sad news of our beloved Achan. He was instrumental in my Christian journey, helping me understand the nature of our faith and incorporating the younger generation's input & needs within our traditional services. I know he and my dad will find each other in Heaven and have lively discussions on maintaining the perfect white beard.

A genuinely good man who married a genuinely good woman and raised three genuinely good people. I now feel his loss, but I know I'll feel his impact on my life for years to come.
