Patricia was born in the Bronx, N.Y., on December 29, 1932, the daughter of the late Bernard F. and Helena (nee Daskiewisz) Daugherty. She had one sister, the late Bernice “Bunny” Brandon.
Patricia married the love of her life, Ezra Lander, on December 9, 1967, in Arlington, Virginia. Before settling in Chattanooga, the couple made their home in Washington D.C., and later traveled extensively, making friends throughout the world. Patricia had a special place in her heart for all of God’s creatures. This special lady touched many lives with her laughter, wisdom, caring encouragement, and loving counsel.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Ezra, and his four children, Rozanne Black and Marilyn, Janice and Elliott (Grace) Lander. Patricia will be laid to rest in the Veteran’s National Cemetery in Chattanooga.
