She was of the Presbyterian faith and was a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Her husband, Richard Schrader preceded her in death.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Lynn K. and John Swearingen of Wagner, South Carolina; her son and daughter-in-law, Eric Alan and Christel Schrader of Rossville; her sisters, Carol J. Bennett and her husband, David of Signal Mountain; Janet Poludniak of Auburn, New York; her brother, Al Kessler and his wife JoAnn of Marietta, Georgia; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Rev. Jeremy Wallace officiating.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
The family requests no flowers but memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross.
Arrangements are by Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 8214 East Brainerd Road, Chattanooga, Tennessee.
