Ralph Clemons

Ralph Clemons – 92, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away Friday – March 27, 2009, at a local hospital.

He was the owner and operator of Clemons Oil Company and Downtown Auto in Chattanooga.

He was a member of Westview Baptist Church and a WWII veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred Clemons, three children, Skip Clemons, of Orange Beach, AL., Bobby Lee Clemons, of Ringgold, GA., Charles Michael Clemons, of Marietta, GA., four grandchildren, Patrick Lee Clemons, Michael Seth Clemons, Jason Matthew Clemons, Hayley Clemons, sister, Anna Lee Kincaid, of Chattanooga, TN., and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m., Monday in the East Brainerd Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Rev. Sterling Jetton officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens in Hixson, Tennessee.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 – 8 p.m., and Monday from 10 – 1 p.m., at the funeral home.

Mr. Clemons was a very special man. He always had a smile and a joke to share, whether at church or at the Bi-Lo. His favorite greeting was "you have 2 tens for a five". I will miss seeing him.
