Rebecca Lynn Woodeson-Pelfrey

She is preceded in death by her parents, Carol and Perrilin Woodeson and one brother, Gordon Woodeson.

Rebecca graduated from Notre Dame High School in Chattanooga, TN and later worked at Edward Jones for 27 years. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church in Ooltewah, TN. She enjoyed traveling with her husband of 30 years, James Pelfrey, and enjoyed boating and spending time at the beach with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Rebecca is survived by her husband, James Pelfrey, and her three children Trey (Betty) Johnson, Drew (April) Johnson, Rebecca (Mike) Hicks, Julia (Jesse) Pelfrey, and Chris Pelfrey, her grand-children, Dakota Steele and Logan Johnson, Maranda (Matt) Herring, Brittany (Chris) Delappa, Lainey Long, Kayla (Josh) Kincaid, Tyler Pelfrey, Maison and Kiley Pelfrey, her nephew James (Jessica) Woodeson. She also leaves behind many wonderful great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Saturday, May 2, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. with a Celebration of Life service beginning at 1:00 p.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church, 7555 Ooltewah-Georgetown Road Ooltewah, TN 37363.
