He was a United States Air Force Veteran and traveled much of the world.
Survivors include his three children, Caleb Gossett, Misty Potter, & Phillip Gossett; two grandchildren, Hayden Potter and Isaac Potter; parents, Miriam and Harry Gossett; two sisters, Debra (Randy) Stallings and Holly (Justin) Kitchens; special friend, Dorothy Bratton; former wife, Susan Gossett; three aunts, Linda Sartain, Jeanie Hilburn, and Connie Gossett; and multiple nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Thursday, February 2, 2017 from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held Friday, February 3, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the East Brainerd Chapel.
Private interment will be at Chattanooga National Cemetery on Monday, February 6, 2017.
