She was born December 24, 1951 in Junction City, KY to the late Billy & Fay Coffman.
She worshipped at Silverdale Baptist Church.
Her husband, Alfred Taylor Burton, brothers, Paul Coffman and Hank Coffman, aunt & uncle, Edith “Mae” and Frank Kaufman, and cousins, Chelcie Griffin, Faye Wilkerson, and Edward Peck preceded her in death.
Survivors include her daughter, Hayley (Josh) Headrick of Chattanooga; sons, Shane Burton of Chattanooga; step-son Tony Burton of Bon Aqua, TN; one granddaughter, Madison Headrick of Chattanooga; two step-grandchildren, Tim and Jacob Burton of Nashville; special cousin Wanda Jones of Danville, KY; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
