Sadie Lee Murphy

Sadie Lee Murphy, 78, of Rossville, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2026. Born July 14, 1948, Sadie’s life was marked by steady devotion to those she loved and a quiet strength that showed itself in the way she cared, worked, and gave of herself through the years.

For more than 20 years, Sadie worked for CVS Pharmacy, a long season of faithful service that reflected her hard-working spirit and the dependable presence so many came to know and appreciate. In both the ordinary and the important moments of life, she carried herself with a gentle, kind-hearted grace that made others feel seen and valued.

Sadie was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Murphy.

She is survived by her brother, Austin Liles; her sons, Alan Murphy, Robert Murphy, and Ronald Murphy; her daughters, Regina Murphy, Lynn Murphy, and Shanna Perry; her sister, Merita Brown; fourteen grandchildren; and twenty great-grandchildren.

Sadie will be remembered as deeply beloved and cherished—held close in the hearts of her family and all who had the privilege to know her.
