She was born on September 2, 1937, in Hamilton County, TN to the late Anna (Ratcliff) & Erb Battle.
Her siblings, Hazel Spain, Kenneth Battle, Betty Pickett, Joyce Bowman, Patsy Mitchell, and Dr. John Battle, and also great-granddaughter, Karington Miner preceded her in death.
Sandra was an Office Administrator for Dr. Max Brenner for over 30 years.
Survivors include her husband of 20 years, Lynn Heer; children, Deanna (Steve) Faulkner of Ooltewah, TN, Cindy (Chip) Catlett of Chickamauga, GA, and Steve (Russell) Jackson of Chattanooga, TN; grandchildren, Travis (Laina) Shepard, Kara Johnson, Michaela (David) Zatelli, Samantha Catlett, Luke Catlett, Steve (Natalie) Faulkner, and Zachery Faulkner; great-grandchildren, Abbie, Asher, Dominic, Everett, Remington, Brylee, and Kinsley; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Saturday, November 14, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. 2:30 p.m. at the East Brainerd Chapel. Graveside services will follow at 3:00 p.m. Hamilton Memorial Gardens with Dr. Courtney Krueger officiating.
