Shamekia was a resident of Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Shamekia was preceded in death by her grandparents, Vivian Christian, Virginia Love and Ora Mae Sutton; and father, Anthony Sutton.
Those Shamekia leaves behind to cherish her memory include her son, Jakhi Love; daughter, Ky'lei Love; mother, Vickey Brooks; sister, Ashley Sutton; nieces, Kaliyah Hampton and Kamiyah Hampton; nephews, Kamarion Ray and Kaiden Hampton; grandmother, Nancy Swoopes; other relatives and friends.
Shamekia had an affectionate heart. Her family was her reason to keep going until she couldn't go anymore.
Her kids filled her life with love and meaning; something beautiful and worth every moment!
