My heart breaks for my best friend Connie (and her mother Betty) for the unexpected loss of her father this morning. He was always there with a joke. He was very artistic and worked with spare wood and metal for his creations. He loved cars and was always working one of his many. He could build anything (and did). He was the best tinker ever, I always wanted to see what he was working on and he was glad to show me. He was so interesting, always trying something different, and very funny. He worked so hard at everything he did. You could say I was adopted by her parents and their house became my second home. He somehow cheered me up when my parents separated and I will never forget that. He was a devoted and loving husband and a wonderful father. He loved his wife and daughter to the ends of the earth and back. In loving memory, he will be missed.
