She was born in Seattle, Washington to the late Albert & Shirley Stiffler.
Her sister, Cynthia Tippett preceded her in death.
Survivors include her loving husband of 59 years, Larry Aldred; children, Roderick Aldred, Stephanie Harris (Mark), Jason Aldred; grandchildren, Michaela Mahlo, Riana Mahlo, Kaylie Aldred, Ciara Mahlo, Tia Aldred; sisters, Judy Maguire (John), Sandi Bliss, Marci Tippett (Steve) and several nieces and nephews.
Sue was a loving wife, mother and grammie. Her smile and laughter brought joy and comfort to us all. She dedicated her life to her family and fought to the very end until her children and granddaughters could hold her hand and say goodbye.
In her life she treated everyone and everything with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness and gentleness. Living by these virtues we know that she is on the inside of Heaven looking out, not on the outside looking in and her greatest desire was for her family, friends and community to be on the inside with her.
Arrangements are by the East Brainerd Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 8214 East Brainerd Rd., Chattanooga, TN 37421.
