Teshayla Simone Yearby

She worked as a Medical Assistant and was attending nursing school.

Teshayla loved hanging out with her family and friends; they meant everything to her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Anthony L. Shepherd; grandfathers, Horace C. Yearby and Earl Freeman; grandmother, Gloria J. Shepherd; aunt, Erica Yearby; cousin, Mykel Anderson; and devoted friend, Akhori Monay.

Those Teshayla leaves to cherish her memory include Dee Davidson devoted father of her children, Jeresy Yearby and Denari Davidson; mother, Tiffany L. Patton (Lisa Smith); grandmother, Joan (Stanley) Butts; sisters, Tanay Brady and Ashley Parrott; brothers, Jordan Parrott, Delonta Shepherd, Devonta Shepherd, Torrez Bowling and Ta'Adrian Patton; aunts, Angela (Joe) Parker, Gail (Corey) Hardy and Erlissa (Michael) Howard; uncles, Calvin (Lakiea) Yearby, Nicholas (Roshanda) Yearby, James (Dorisea) Shepherd and Clarence (Shanilka) Shepherd; nephews, Kah'myzi Morris, Logan, Emarion Roberson, Eillis Roberson and Kaycen Burney; nieces, Lyric Morris, Hazel Bowling and Dream.

Teshayla is loved and will also be greatly missed by a host of great aunties, great uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A Lie-In-State will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 8:30 am to 10:30 am at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services - Franklin Strickland Chapel, 1724 McCallie Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404.

The Funeral Service will immediately follow at 10:30 am.

The Committal Service will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 2116 Shepherd Rd, Chattanooga, 37421.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, to please make a donation to NHC Healthcare.
