He was preceded in death by his mother: Sammie Mae Kines Jackson. sisters: Evelyn B. Cummings, Rubye L. Coty. brothers: William Jackson, Robert Jackson. son Thomas Bumpass. grandson Lamar Carroll.
Left to cherish his memory are daughter: Essie Polk. Sons; Nicholas Jackson, Lamar Bumpass. Grandsons:

A visitation for Thomas will be held Wednesday, June 4, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services - Franklin Strickland Chapel 1724 Mccallie Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404.
A graveside service will occur Thursday, June 5, 2025 at 2:30 PM at Chattanooga Memorial Park, Chattanooga, TN.
