Mr. Wae Soo Shin, 83, of Hixson, TN passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2016. Mr. Shin was born in South Korea on June 7, 1932. He moved to the United States in 1980 and then to the Chattanooga area in 1988. He was a retired hotel owner. He was a member of Korean Presbyterian Church of Chattanooga. He is survived by his wife, In Sun Shin; sons, Hyun Tae Shin (wife, In Soon), Hyun Ik Shin (Wife, In Sook) and Hyun Wook Shin (Wife, Dae Jin); grandchildren, Jane Shin, Jennifer Shin, Brian Shin, Phillip Shin, Pill-oo Shin, Pearl Shin, John Shin, and Susan Shin; 1 brother and 2 sisters. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm on Monday, May 2nd at Chattanooga Funeral Home East Brainerd Chapel. The funeral service will be 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 3rd at the funeral home.
