William “Billy” Morris, age 62, passed away on September 9, 2026. Billy was a resident of Chattanooga, Tennessee. Born on February 13, 1964, he will be remembered with deep respect and lasting affection by all who knew him.
Billy was preceded in death by his father and mother, William Morris and Patricia Ann Morris; his sisters, Barbara Ann Bailiff and Donna Morris; and his beloved girlfriend, Cynthia King.
He is survived by his sisters, Pam Smith and Jo Morris; his brother, Gordon Smith; and many nieces and nephews.
Throughout his life, Billy was cherished and beloved for the steady goodness he brought into the lives around him. Known for his honesty and loyalty, he carried himself with quiet integrity and a thoughtful regard for others. His kind-hearted nature and loving spirit left a mark that will not fade, and his presence will be deeply missed.
Billy also found joy in the teams he loved—especially the Tennessee Vols and the Dallas Cowboys—and those who shared those conversations and moments with him will remember them fondly. We will miss you, Billy.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services, Franklin-Strickland Chapel, A Celebration of Life, located at 1724 McCallie Ave, Chattanooga, TN, on October 14, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
