Bill worked as a Wildlife Conservationist. He was a musician for churches during revival and loved gospel music.

Bill is survived by his daughters Janete Bass and Ashlee Hathaway; adoptive daughter April Parrish; grandchildren Jacob Hathaway, Arthas Pritchett, Elizabella Stordahl, Sebastian Pritchett and Korcha Menck.
