William "Bubber" Edward Posey Jr.

Bill graduated from East Ridge High School in 1983. He worked for Posey Construction Company and then later in Security. He was a huge history buff and loved watching all sports. Bill was the biggest fan of the Tennessee Vols and the Atlanta Braves. He was known for his witty sense of humor and he will be greatly missed by his family, which loved him very much.

Bill is survived by his father, William Edward Posey Sr., mother, Ellen Sue Childress Posey, sister, Kimberly Posey Horton, brother in law Patrick Horton, nieces and nephews Matthew Horton, Carolyn Collyer Horton, Madeline Horton Record and Stephen Record, and many Aunts, Uncles and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, February 28, 2022 in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Doug Plumlee officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:30 am until time of service Monday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Ridgedale Baptist Church or Volunteers in Medicine 5705 Marlin Road # 1400, Chattanooga, TN 37411.
