Winnie Estelle Roberts, age 99, of Chattanooga passed away Saturday, February 19, 2011 in a local health care facility. She was born in Dyer, Tennessee March 8, 1911 to the late James T. and Rhoda Preslar Dunn.
She was a member of Brainerd Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband of 74 years, Charles Roberts; sister, Mallie Daily of Florence, Alabama; nieces and nephews, Barbara Holt and Margaret Jenkins both of Chattanooga; Al Bolton of Lebanon, Pennsylvania; Patricia Roberts of Atlanta; Jess Daily of Los Angeles, California; several great-nieces and great-nephews also survive
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. in the East Brainerd Chapel with Minister John Cupp and Minister Jerry Weldon officiating. Burial will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
