Alberta Grace Sementa

Alberta Grace Sementa fell asleep in death on July 29th, 2023 at the age of 91. She was born September 18, 1931 in Elliotsville, PA. Alberta was the daughter of Gorman Ray Lewis and Ethel Mae Lewis (Dumire).

She lost her husband of 52 years, Alfred Sementa, in 2003 and her son-in-law Piotr Szlamas in 2022.

She is survived by her children Fred (Bonnie) Sementa, Brenda Szlamas, grandchildren Freddie Sementa (Amy), Christy Carrasco (Orlando), Tommy Sementa, Lauren Clune (Michael), Alyson Szlamas, Pete Szlamas (Stephanie), great grandchildren Emily Sementa, Cayley Carrasco, Coby Carrasco, Aaron Szlamas, Donovan Szlamas, Aislin Clune and many nephews and nieces.

Alberta devoted herself to caring for the needs of her family and others. She was hard-working and always ready to show hospitality to all. Most important to her was her faith in Jehovah God. She read the Bible daily and gained much joy in helping others to learn about the Bible’s promises of everlasting life on a paradise earth.

She will be dearly missed by family and friends.

Visitation will be held at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses located at 110 Woodiebrook Road, Chardon, Ohio 44024 on Saturday, August 26, 2023 from 3pm until 4pm with a Memorial Talk beginning promptly at 4pm.
