Alice Gail Lowe, 81, of Vienna Twp. (formerly Mentor), passed away peacefully at home on Friday, April 26, 2024. Alice was the daughter of the late Steven and Elsie (nee Szabo) Kresnye. In addition to her parents, Alice is preceded in death by her husband, William Lowe (2016), and sister, Arlene Henry (2024). Alice was devoted to her Christian faith and spent many years donating to Moody Bible Institute and women’s shelters and volunteering at vacation Bible school. Her positive outlook on life made her easy to love. She always saw the good in people and was willing to offer a helping hand. She was a strong, independent woman with the kindest heart. In her free time, Alice enjoyed reading and puzzles. She will be missed by so many. Alice is survived by her loving son James Lowe (Jamie Manning); grandchildren Samuel Sykola (Sarah) and Elise McAninch (Ryan); great grandchildren Cora and Ira; brother Steven Kresnye; nieces, nephews, and many friends. Visitation will be held at Gattozzi and Son Funeral Home located at 12524 Chillicothe Road, Chesterland, Ohio 44026 on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 from 10am until 11am. Celebration of life service will be held at the Funeral Home promptly at 11am. Alice will be laid to rest at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens following the service. All are welcome to join the family for a luncheon at the Funeral Home following the burial.
