

Anna Mae (Hofmann) Walczak, age 78, of Chester Township, passed away suddenly Sunday, June 6, 2010. She was born Dec. 24. 1931, in Laurel, Md., to the late John C. and the late Goldie Mae (Chaney) Hofmann Sr. She is survived by her beloved husband, Marvin W. Walczak; and children, Charlene Sarita Usrey of Wickliffe, Sharon Faith Heslin of Tampa, Fla., Charles Spurgeon Bryant (Barbara) of Carencro, La., John Mark Bryant Sr. (Barbara) of Waldorf, Md., and Earlene Carol Ketchaver (Dennis) of Willowick. She was special "Mama" to Catherine Rush of Wickliffe; treasured grandmother to Adolfo T. Usrey Jr. (Tricia), Johnathon Heslin (Mindy), Kristi (Clay) Delahoussaye, Staci (Allen) Comeaux, Richard (Bonnie) Zaskany, Melissa (Bob) Bennett, John Mark Bryant Jr., Holly (Tom) Ridgell, Crystal (Chris) Curasi, Amy Bryant, Kenny Wayne and Rebecca Cynthia; unborn Anna Marie Ketchaver, adored great-grandmother of Adolfo T. III and Josiah Usrey, Alyssa and Cyrus Heslin, Cole and Kenzie Delahoussaye, Ian and Colin Comeaux, Gabby Zaskany, Serena, Mackenzie and Will Bennett; aunt of many; sister of John C. Hofmann Jr. (Shirley) of Laurel, Md.; and sister-in-law of Naomi. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Gilbert, George (Agnes) and Donald. Mrs. Walczak loved traveling, board and card games, family activities, swimming, camping and bluegrass music. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, June 10, at Gattozzi and Son Funeral Home, 12524 Chillicothe Road, Chester Township. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 9, at the funeral home. Interment will be at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester Township. She was a most fun loving, devoted wife, sister, "Mama," grandma, great-grandma, aunt and friend who will be missed beyond words. "Mom, to express in mere words my love for her, that could never be...but way down in the depths of my heart, I love her terrifically."
