March 4, 1939 – February 7, 2025
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." – 2 Timothy 4:7
With deep sorrow and abiding faith in God’s eternal promises, we announce that Ardis Audrey Beamer Danicic was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 7, 2025 at the age of 85 with her daughters by her side. While our hearts grieve, we rejoice in knowing that she now rests in the loving arms of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
Ardis was born on March 4, 1939 in Maple Heights, Ohio to Edgar and Marie (Herbkersman) Beamer. She was a devoted daughter, wife, mother sister, aunt, cousin and friend to many. She lived a life of love, service, and unwavering faith.
Ardis now joins her beloved husband, Donald Danicic, in heaven. They were married on June 6, 1959 and he was called home on April 13, 2013. She also joins her parents, sister Shirley Krohmer, brother Terry Beamer, beloved nephew, David Bushnell, and many other family members, friends and pets in God’s eternal glory.
A faithful, long-time member of St. Mark Lutheran Church in Chesterland, Ohio, Ardis dedicated her life to serving the Lord through her many endeavors including as a police dispatcher for the Chester Township Police Department and a dedicated volunteer at Rescue Village in Russell Township. Her kind spirit, compassionate heart, and steadfast faith inspired all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughters, Sharon Barlow, Laura Danicic, and Erika Looney (Tim); her grandchildren, Betsy Bushuiakovish (Mark), Kyle Barlow (Sierra), Maria Barlow, Ryan Looney and Allison Looney; her great-grandchildren, Jack, Charlie and Addy Grace Bushuiakovish and Winston and Sonny Barlow; her beloved niece, Susan Murphy; and a host of family and friends who will cherish her memory and legacy of faith. Though Ardis’s earthly journey has ended, we take comfort in the promise of John 3:16 ~ “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.”
Friends and loved ones are invited to join us in remembering a life well-lived in the service of God and others on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 11900 Chillicothe Rd., Chesterland, Ohio, 44026.
In lieu of flowers and in honor of Ardis Danicic’s legacy of faith and kindness, the family requests that donations be made to either:
Rescue Village (Humane Society of Geauga County)
15463 Chillicothe Rd. Novelty, OH 44072
or

Until we meet again in Heaven, we hold on to the blessed assurance that love never dies and that we will one day be reunited in God’s glorious presence!
