BARBARA ANN PROTS (nee Mental), age 72, of Chesterland, formerly of Newbury. Barb enjoyed traveling. She spent the last 30 summers at Ocean Isle Beach sitting on the beach with family and friends. Barb also enjoyed trips to Walt Disney World with her family. She loved rooting for her Cleveland Indians, Browns and the Duke Blue Devils. She was her daughter’s #1 fan when playing and coaching. But her greatest moments were spent with her beloved grandchildren. Beloved wife of the late Michael; loving mother of Joan Prots, Jaclyn (Tom) Stimac, and Jamie (Aaron) Bower; devoted grandmother of Madison Bower, Michaela and Luka Stimac, and Mackenzie Bower; dear daughter of the late Adaline and John Mental; cherished sister of Peggy (George, deceased) Oram, Jack (Kathy) Mental, Tom (Laurie) Mental, and Mick Mental; and dear aunt of many.
