Dear Linda and family,  it has been my pleasure and honor to have worked with Dan, learn from him, be guided by him.  Our friendship was a blessing.  Sue and I will never forget our trip to England together.  Dan was a good man and friend and will be truly missed.  Stay strong.

Dear Linda and family,  I worked on several projects with Dan over the years.  He was a really good engineer, a tireless worker and a man of high ethics.  He was also a great friend.  We accomplished much, but were also often able to have a lot of fun in the process.  Even phosphating Sequence test camshafts in a dirty, smelly plant environment, we managed to find ways to laugh.  I always enjoyed working with Dan.  He will truly be missed.

Linda and family, I have known Dan professionally and personally for over 30 years.  His integrity was instrumental in shaping the minds of many young engineers in the industry he served. Dear Linda and Family,
I cannot believe this has happened.  I have known Dan for many years.  We worked on many projects together and spent many hours talking over dinner, making decisions that still ensure the quality of lubricants in North America. Dan was more than just a friend and business associate, he was a mentor and I have never forgotten or daily talks. Thanks for showing his family side on the website, I last talked to him when he got the new boat, it was good to see he enjoyed it with his family.

Kathy & I extend our deepest sympathy for the loss of Dan. Though we have not been in touch in recent years, I still have fond memories of our friendship and time as dorm & apartment mates (along with Bill Scheerer) at Case. Dan had a very close and loving relationship with his family - no one at Case could believe it when he would return from a home weekend with his sheets (and underwear) carefully ironed by his Mom. I also remember how excited Dan was when he received the job offer from Lubrizol. Of course, most importantly, I remember his love for Linda!

In addition to being a classmate of Dan's at Orange, I also worked with him for many years at Lubrizol, where both his coworkers and I highly regarded him for his professional expertise and as a good person. I lost my husband a year ago and empathize with what you are going through at this most difficult time. I am sorry that another commitment will not permit me to express this to you in person on June 4.
