Born September 10, 1940 in Cleveland, he had been a resident of Euclid for over 45 years. Ed began working in the banking industry immediately after graduating high school, and retired in 1995. He was a member of Nottingham Baptist Church in Willoughby Hills, and loved collecting antiques while attending many antique shows over the years. Ed also enjoyed genealogy often researching for many other family members and friends. He was an animal lover, following in his father’s footsteps who was a Chester Twp. Veterinarian. Ed is survived by his wife Priscilla (nee Woodworth); son Nathan; daughter Amanda (Scott) Gray; grandsons Owen and Corey Gray; sister Judy (Abraham) Awabdy; niece Amy (Randy) Gregory; and nephews Nick (Nancy) Awabdy and Mark (Leslie) Awabdy; and many cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents Nicholas and Harriet Siplock. Friends may call at Nottingham Baptist Church, 2921 Bishop Rd., Willoughby Hills, OH 44092 on Thursday 6-8 pm and Friday 10–11 am, where a Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 9, 2021 at 11:00 am.
