Curtis Todd Leary

Munson Township, Ohio – Curtis Todd Leary, age 67, died on Saturday, September 26, 2026. He was born on June 10, 1959, in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of Dorothy Lee (Ussery) and Arthur Pearson Leary. Curtis was a 1977 graduate of Cleveland Heights High School, as well as a graduate of electrical engineering at Case Western Reserve University. On October 29, 1989, he married Catherine Jean Babcock. He was a great cook and loved sharing a meal with his family. Curtis was an avid golfer, enjoyed fly fishing, and downhill skiing. Traveling across the US or around the world with Cathy was his passion.

Curtis is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife of thirty-six years, Cathy of Munson; stepsons, Benjamin D. (Jill) Silver of Cleveland Heights, and Joshua L. Silver of Prince Edward Island, Canada; four grandchildren, Mark (Hannah) Silver, Grace (Colt) Yinger, Lucy and Max; three brothers, Pearce (Jill) Leary of Chagrin Falls, Bruce (Sandra) Leary of Columbus, and Douglas (Karen) Leary of Chagrin Falls.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Gattozzi and Son Funeral Home, 12524 Chillicothe Road, Chesterland, Ohio, 44026.
