

DAVID WESLEY CARLETON, JR., born 1938 in Cleveland, a 38 year resident of Chesterland, entered into eternal rest September 8, 2013. Loving husband of Ursula (nee Rauer); devoted father of Christina (Mike) Davis; adoring grandfather of John “Jack” Davis, age two; brother of Diane (Rick) Tolle, Judy (Dan) Donovan, and Dennis (Brenda) Carleton; brother-in-law of Yvonne Rauer; nephew of Jack Wolkens and Rita Busch; cousin and uncle of many; and dear friend of many. Prior to working for the USPS, Wickliffe, for 26 years, David was employed by Brush Beryllium of Cleveland. He was a passionate fly-fisherman, award-winning photographer, environmentalist, and traveled extensively throughout Europe and the US. He visited the National Parks regularly, Yellowstone being his favorite. We will always remember him for his great zest for life, his wonderful sense of humor, his love of music, and his devotion to his church, as we bid him Adieu – Auf Wiedersehn!
