Reading these posts, it's apparent that he touched many lives with his kindness and generous spirit.  I knew him as my very bright old cousin with a wicked sense of humor. He adored his Mom and Dad as well as his twin brother, David and sister, Carole. Hard to imagine this soul gone to us. Dr.Tommasome was my instructor when I completed the EFDA program in 1982 and all I did was laugh at his antics, that's the person I will remember. RIP

I worked with Dr. Tommasone for many years at the dental school and wanted to send my deepest sympathy to you all. I will always remember him with a quick sense of humor and a sparkle in his eyes.  Although his body failed him in so many ways, the wit and sparkle was still there.  
He may have been a twin, but DWT was one of a kind!

So sorry for your loss of your father.  Your family has been through so much, especially in recent years.  Both your parents are looking down from heaven with pride at all of caring, kindness, strength and love you showered on them throughout their lives and in particular in their deepest moments of need.  I hope you take some comfort in knowing they are both in a better place and free of pain.

Uncle Denny -  "Where do I begin ......"  There are so many memories I can't even begin to start on how saddened we are all going to be for our loss of such a wonderful and highly witty person.  I have been sitting here going through memory lane for the past several days remembering all of the fun things that we did together as a family and you did for me personally.  Too touch on a few;  is having be by your side working for you in your dental office, finding Muff when she got lost and having all of us kids crying to please find her - and you did!, flying me back and forth from New Hampshire to Ohio to spend time over the summer with everyone, going on the boat, etc.... I could go on and on.....  My thoughts and prayers are with you and Aunt Linda at this time and until we all meet again

I am saddened to hear of the passing of Dennis.  Our parents were best friends.  There were so many weekends in the late 50's when our families would meet at each other's homes for good friendship.  My parents, John and Mary Christopher were Godparents to Dennis and David.  So many memories of their home near Belvoir.......many Christmas Eve dinners spent together. My very deep condolences to Helen, Carol and David and their family members. May his soul rest with the Lord.

Dr Tommasone helped me during the late 70's get through the expanded duties program when I worked at the dental school. He was a wonderful person and  always remained in my thoughts over the years. My deepest sympathy to his family.

Karen & I were classmates of Dennis at St. Gregory's and then at St. Joe's. We have fond memories of catching up with Dennis at  the 40th anniversary of our graduation from grade school. He will be missed.
