We are saddened to learn of Diane’s passing. She was always so caring, helpful, and kind to our children during their time at Lindsey.  As parents it was great to know that your child had some one they could go to whenever they needed help with anything.  Our prayers go out to her family.

Diane and I met in 7th grade at St. Aloysius School.  We remained the best of friends all these years, even though I left Cleveland in 1965.   I loved her dearly and I will miss her.

There are not enough words to describe my dear friend Diane. We first met when she moved  to Harold Drive. My middle son and Amy were the same age and my oldest son and Brian are the same age.  The boys remain good friends to this day. We did so many things together and kept close throughout the years. She was always ALWAYS  concerned for her children!! They were the focus of her life. I will miss her smile and her giggle. She is in the arms of the Lord!! Keep watch over us Diane!

I’m so sorry to hear this.  I grew up on the street Mrs Grasso raised her kids on. I was always there hanging out with Amy.  I also had the privilege of working with Mrs Grasso at Lindsey Elementary.  She was always so caring to the students and staff.  She was an amazing person and an exceptional mom!  Prayers to Amy and Brian and their families. ❤️🙏

Diane was such a wonderfully kind and caring person.  She was enormously helpful and welcoming when I first started at Lindsey and was also there for support, comfort and  inspiration, whatever was needed, throughout the years.  Her kindness to all the students and families she encountered helped make Lindsey a special place.  

Diane and I met 60 years ago at Sohio.  We became good friends and had a lot of fun.  We went to Hawaii, but the most interesting trip was camping in Pennsylvania.  We did not have much money, so we packed up a car with cooking utensils and drove to a campsite in Pennsylvania.  When we got there, the fellow met us and showed us where our cabin was.  Diane and I asked him if he wanted us to pay him right then.  I guess he took one look at us and said, I’ll get you on the way out. Boy, was he right, we left the next morning. Diane and I then went to Geneva on the Lake, and then to Cedar Point. We ending up spending more money! I have a lot of good memories. My sincere condolences to the family. Know that Diane will be missed.

So many wonderful memories of Diane at Lindsey School- from her always smiling face to her “ magic water “( aka plain old tap water) she would give the students that needed a little TLC!  Such a wonderful, kind hearted lady.  Heaven has another angel to watch over her family, friends and all the people whose lives she touched.

She was a wonderful extra gran to our girls’. We were neighbors to Lance and Amy  for many years and she was always a staple! If you have a gran or even an adopted one, take a moment to appreciate them. Diane was a good one and I hope peace for she and all of her family!

Diane was a dear friend, I met her while in my care at Maplewood senior living where I work. She will truly be missed, she always made my day when I started my shift and it was a great pleasure working with her and becoming her friend ❤️
