He is survived by a brother, Gary, Rochester, N.Y. and many nieces and nephews.
After a time in the Army, he attended Cornell University, receiving a degree in Landscape Architecture.
Don was a beloved friend of many. He loved his farm and his many animals.
He was an internationally recognized floral designer, whose work took him around the world.
He was especially proud of the work he did for the White House and working with First Ladies, the British Embassy, and official visits from Queen Elizabeth and Margaret Thatcher.
He will be dearly missed.
