Funeral Mass for Doris P. Gerbitz, 83, of Russell Township, will be 11 a.m. Friday, April 26, 2013, at Church of Saint Anselm, 12969 Chillicothe Road, Chester Township. Mrs. Gerbitz passed away April 23, 2013. She was born July 24, 1929, in Detroit, Mich. Survivors are her children, Sara Mae, Brooks (Julie), Clayton (Julie), Blake and Reece (Lesley); and grandchildren, Marissa, Ryan, Alex, Lauren, Morgan, Meredith and William. Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph; parents, Gustav and Helena Mae (nee Slatcher) Rydin; and daughter-in-law, Dora. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Gattozzi and Son Funeral Home, 12524 Chillicothe Road, Chester Township. Interment will be at Riverview Cemetery in Russell Township.
