Eleanor R. Novotny (nee Kabicek), beloved wife of James F. Sr. for 72 years, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2020 at the age of 90. Eleanor was born February 1, 1930 to Frank and Mary (Barta) Kabicek. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend who will be dearly missed.
Eleanor is survived by husband James, children Katherine Briggs, James F. Novotny Jr. (Deborah), and Paula Siller (Bruce), grandchildren Kelsey (Joel) Algeri, Krissy Novotny, Kimberly (Dave) Fleming, Karen (Sean) Fogle, Brian (Shannon) Siller, Julie (Jason) Brand, Sarah (Frank) Horbay, Jason (Lori) Briggs, and ten great-grandchildren.
Preceding Eleanor in death are her parents, five sisters and four brothers.
All services are private. A celebration of Eleanor's life will be held at a later date. Donations may be made in Eleanor’s name to Al-Anon al-anon.org or Rescue Village rescuevillage.org.
