Ferald "Jerry" Cortland, age 77 of Russell Twp. Beloved son of Carmen and Helen (nee Chicone) Corsillo; loving father of Louise and Laura Cortland; devoted brother of David (Dottie) and Ron (Loretta) Cory; dear uncle of Brian, Melissa, Mike, Paul, Dan, Joan and Jack. Jerry was the longtime owner of Renovation Experts in Geauga County. He was also a sober member of Alcoholics Anonymous for 33 years and an Italian chef extraordinaire. Jerry died February 10, 2017 at Aurora Manor while in hospice care. Funeral service 1 p.m. Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Ledgewood Christian Church, 8261 Kinsman Rd., Novelty, OH 44072 followed by a reception.
