Gertrude K. "Trudy" Bruno

Funeral Mass for Gertrude K. "Trudy" Bruno, age 87, of Chardon will be11:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 14, at St. Anselm Catholic Church, 12969 Chillicothe Rd., Chesterland, OH 44026. Please meet at the church. Mrs. Bruno died October 8, 2014, at her home. She was born February 16, 1927, in Boston, MA. Trudy spent five years in the credit department with Sears at Shoregate and another sixteen years in charge of installations for Sears in Mentor where she retired. She was an active member of St. Anselm Church and the Young of Heart. Mrs. Bruno was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, of 52 years; sister, Mary Lunardo; and brother, James R. Burt of MA. She is survived by her son, Joseph Jr. (Sandy) of AZ; daughter, Jane (Chuck) Myden of Montville; grandchildren, Shelly (Mike) Gaffney of AZ, Charles Myden, Faith (Tim) Campbell of Dallas, TX, Renee (Robert) Petrey and Kyle Bruno of AZ; great grandchildren, Cory and Caitlin Gaffney, Tyler, Clayton, Logan, Isabelle, Garrett, Sophie and Willa Myden , Ethan Petrey, and Gavin Bruno Campbell; brother-in-law, August (Pat) Bruno; and sister-in-law, Virginia (Clarence) Abner. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 13, at Gattozzi and Son Funeral Home, 12524 Chillicothe Rd., Chester Twp. Interment will be at All Souls Cemetery, Chardon.
