

Helvi's parents, John and Amanda Hyytiainen (Kuivasmaki), came from Finland in 1909. Helvi was born in Monessen, Pa., in 1913.
Helvi's siblings were the late Gertrude Ives, Ina Rice and Wayne Hyyti; her following deceased stepsisters, Aini Keistman and Aurora Watson; and her deceased stepbrothers, Albert and Arnold Keistman.
Helvi graduated from Mecca High School in 1931, and was the beloved wife of the late Frank Tuttle. The family lived in Cleveland neighborhoods until moving to Willowick in 1955.
Helvi is survived by her daughter, Gloria McCombs (Davy) of Quinwood, W.Va.; sons, Phil Tuttle (Kathleen) of Solon and Roger Tuttle (Connie) of Harpersfield; grandchildren, Dale McCombs (Barb), Diane Lively, Frank McCombs, Marc McCombs (Traci), Jeffrey Tuttle, Megan Petronsky (Gordon), and Maureen Robinson (Jay); great-grandchildren, Jenny Kopp (Bradley), ZJ, Eric (Tiffiny), and Anna Lively, Jordan, Matthew, Eric and Francine McCombs, and Aldyn Petronsky; and great-great-grandchildren, Taylor, Madison, Zaden and Landen. Helvi is also survived by her half-brother, Ernest Hyyti of Cortland.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Gattozzi and Son Funeral Home, 12524 Chillicothe Road, Chester Township, OH 44026, where services will be held 10 a.m. Friday, May 6, 2011. Interment will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester Township.
