
Hollace Marie Turnage (nee George), 71, died Tuesday, December 29, 2020, at Hillcrest Hospital after a valiant battle against the Covid 19 Virus. Born February 26, 1949, Holly lived most of her life in Willoughby before moving to Russell Township in 2007. She most recently lived at Gates Mills Club, Mayfield Heights, OH.
Holly was a member of the Willoughby South High School Class of 1967 where she played clarinet in the marching and symphonic bands. She was a graduate of Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in library science. She was a librarian at the Willoughby Public Library. Holly retired as a mail carrier for US Postal Service out of the Bainbridge Branch.
Holly was an avid reader and crafter. She made many quilts that she shared with family and friends.
Holly is survived by a sister, Pamela (James) Curtis of Fairport Harbor. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Turnage, and her parents, William and Marie George.
At her request, there will be no services. Holly will be buried alongside her husband in the West Salem Cemetery, West Salem, Ohio.
