Howard M. Ballou

Howard M. Ballou, age 82, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2026. Howard was born on May 1, 1944, in Providence, Rhode Island, to Anne A. (McDonough) and Herbert L. Ballou. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy prior to moving to Ohio, where he worked for Ohio Bell and met and married his wife, Diane M. Willis. Howard retired from Ohio Bell after 28 years.

Howard is survived by his wife of fifty-six years, Diane Ballou; his children, Michele (Michael) Seymour, Nicole (Kevin) Dunbar, and Shane (Becky) Ballou; his sister, Nancy (Deke) Eaton; and grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Travis, Ashley, Ethan, Cayden, Alexis, and Haley. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Pamela Ballou and Joyce DuRoss; and his brother, Leonard Ballou.
