Born February 24, 1929, in Baltimore, MD, he was a resident of Euclid before moving to Chesterland 55 years ago. Rich served his country honorably in the United States Army before graduating from Penn State University with a degree in Architectural Engineering. He went on to enjoy a long and fulfilling career with The Austin Company in Cleveland Heights, where he was respected for his dedication, skill, and integrity in his field. Rich was also a lifelong fan of Penn State Football and an avid golfer. He is survived by his children Luann (Steve) Blazer, Robert (Jane) Heffner, Lisa (Tom House) Chenowith, and Erick Chenowith; grandchildren M.J. Chenowith, Brandon Chenowith, Austin Heffner, Heather (Chad) Mapes, and Alexandra Heffner; and great-grandchildren Jayden and Domenic. Rich is preceded in death by his wife Nancy Ann Chenowith; and stepson Richard Chenowith. Private family services and Interment will be held at Maple Hill Cemetery in Munson Twp.
