Jay Louis McKenna, age 85, passed away on January 23rd, 2021. He was a police lieutenant in University Heights as well as a postal worker in Russell Township and Park Ranger for the Holden Arboretum. Jay was an avid animal lover, he loved his dog Fred and his cat Gabby. He loved Guidos, every Saturday was spaghetti marinara night. Once a month he enjoyed steak at The Outback. Jay also enjoyed walks in the neighborhood and visiting and talking with all of his neighbors. Jay is survived by his daughters Kathleen McKenna Frost and Colleen Lynn McKenna; grandsons Justin Michael Frost and Preston McKenna Frost; and great grandson Grayson Frost (2 and a half months old); and siblings Carl Hugh McKenna and Ellen Claire Wingenbach. He was preceded in death by his daughter Ilene Lynn McKenna; parents Cyril Hugh and Angela Irene McKenna; brother Mark Leo McKenna; and sister Bernice Irene Fitzgerald.
