Jayne Louise Horlacher

Jayne Louise Horlacher, age 84, died on Saturday, September 6, 2025. She was born on February 19, 1941, in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Anna Mae (Wetherhold) and George Appel Horlacher. Jayne was a 1959 graduate of Lutheran East High School and attended Miami of Ohio College. She was a secretary for Meldrum and Fewsmith Advertising in Cleveland for many years.

Jayne loved her cats, spoiling them with her love and treats. She enjoyed completing paint-by-numbers paintings. In her younger years she attended car racing following Parnelli Jones and would frequently be found at Nelsons Ledges enjoyed those races, and was an avid reader, her favorite author being Steven King.

Jayne is preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her brother, Peter G. (Florence) Horlacher of Cleveland Heights, Ohio; a sister, Sally A. (Ronald) Wolf of Chesterland, Ohio; nieces, Laura, and Kathrine (Eric) Schneider; nephews, Paul, David (Michelle), and Michael; great-nieces, Nicole, Natalie and Anna; and great-nephews, William, Charles, Ryan, and Jack.

Private services and burial were held at Acacia Masonic Memorial Park in Mayfield Heights, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to Geauga Humane Society's Rescue Village, www.rescuevillge.org.
