Joan R. Kary

Joan R. (nee Taylor) Kary, 81, a resident of Chester Twp. for 30 years, died Feb. 19, 2016 at David Simpson House in Cleveland. She was born January 9, 1935, in Conneaut. Joan was a member of the Red Hatters and loved traveling. She was a Supervisor with Channel Products in Chester Twp. for 25 years, retiring in 2007. Survivors are her daughter Cindy (Al) Skrajnar; grandchildren, Jennifer (R.C.) Hornyak, Brian (Stacy) Klann, Amanda (Dave) Mazal, and Malissa (fiancé Ted Robinette) Kary; great-grandchildren, Brayden and Mackenzie Hornyak, Liam Klann, and Nora Robinette; and her loving four legged companion, Bridget. She was preceded in death by her son Jim Kary. Family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at Gattozzi and Son Funeral Home, 12524 Chillicothe Rd., Chester Twp. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, February 25, 2016, at the funeral home, Pastor Stefan Sawczak will officiate. Burial at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Twp.
