Dr. John George Nemunaitis, born April 5, 1934, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2022 with his wife Charlene, family and friends nearby and in support. John is survived by his loving wife of 67 years Charlene and his eight children Johnny (Nadine), Deborah (Dan) George, Gregory (Janet), Sharon (Tim) Skapura, Bradley (Rose), Brian (Karen), Marc (Michelle), and Michael (Cheryl) along with 26 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. At 88 years old, John lived a full life, just before compromise, identifying his greatest accomplishment as raising eight children with his loving wife Charlene. John was born as one of four siblings (Eleanor, Bob, and Dan) of an immigrant father from Lithuania and a mother who was a nurse from America. He grew up respecting his Viking heritage to work hard and accomplish goals for family. He was an avid outdoorsman, traveler of the world, storyteller and physician who graduated from Case Western Reserve School of Medicine, then went to New York University to specialize in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. In his spirit of helping others, he founded the Euclid Clinic Rehabilitation Center and through his belief in God and Guardian Angels he recently looked forward to his transition to Heaven and a new ability to guide those whom he loves.
