Bob, I was sorry to hear of Joyce's death .  She was a lovely person and I know you will miss her.  It must be hard to lose both your wife and sister in such a short time.  My prayers are with you.

Joyce was an extraordinary woman, always ready with a smile or quip to brighten my day. Having been in the same field of employ as I, she understood the challenges I faced every day. It was a pleasure to assist her and get to know her in the process. Rest in peace Joyce and know you are loved and will be missed.

I was so sorry to hear about Joyce. Every time that I saw her at the Silver Skillet, she was smiling and always said hi to me. I will miss that.

My favorite childhood summer memories are spending a few weeks with Aunt Joyce and Uncle Bob. The boys were older brothers I didn’t have. Aunt Joyce was always so calm, patient and loving. She was a finishing touch to the other wonderful women in my life. Those weeks spent in her presence undoubtedly helped shaped the person I am today. My sincere condolences to the extended LaMoreaux family. I remember Joyce's optimistic outlook on everything.  So many wonderful memories of our luncheon discussions are not forgotten. She, truly,  is  missed.

Bob and Joyce would come to our family farm in PA. They would spend a lot of vacation time with our family. To me they were family. We would be going too the fields and Joyce would say, if you get Blackberrys I'll make  a pie. She was a great person and family friend. I drank a lot of her Fresca pop when they came up. Mrs. LaMoreaux was an amazing woman. When I was young, I used to stay at her and Bob's house quite a bit. Probably more than my own home. I was friend's with their youngest son, Rob.  She and I shared a common bond due to personal illness and she would help me each morning with a hefty injection right in the ... butt. I hated it. We drank 'Tab' pop at that time. I hated that, too. But, she always told me what I needed to do to manage my illness as she was also doing for herself. Back in those days, life expectancy wasn't as long as we have both made it out to be. She did a tremendous job managing it and because of her determination and what she taught me, I have been able to manage mine as well. She was always so kind and gentle. I will miss her dearly.
