Kathy was a new friend for me. I liked the Morris's even before meeting them. My husband, Scott, and I live a few hundred feet East of Sunnybrook. They had chickens and after 10 years of chickens at my house it was like I found a soul mate. Kathy was always kind and welcoming when I would drop in. I loved knowing she was loving what she worked on during the day and would proudly show me the task she had done that day or week. In the summer her grandchildren would sometimes be with her and the smile on her face never left. I know she loved her children and Grand children very much. Kathy I will miss you very much, but your innate sense of calm will always be with me. Cindy

It was an honor to see the love that Kathy shared with her family! Kathy took great pride in her grandchildren and I appreciated witnessing the warm bond between them all every time they were together! I watched closely in the loving lessons Kathy shared with the grand- children from all about vegetables to encouraging good grades and music lessons! Kathy loved her family, and her love in her heart will be carried on through her family, I pledge to keep her memory alive in every adventure we have moving forward with the grand-children! I will miss her smile and wisdom she shared with everyone she knew! God got another angel even tho her family wasnt ready to let go!

I am so sorry first and foremost . I met her when I was 27. She was always very quiet and to herself. Always felt like she had something weighing on her mind. She was a very sweet woman. But I remember coming to work one day and it was maybe 6 in the morning. And she was crying. So I hugged her.. which I had to beg her to let me do. But it was about you and how much she loves you and what you were going through. And I think I know what that was. And she always had Grace. Very beautiful woman. Very dedicated.

My fondest memories of Kathy are sitting on the sidewalk at Westwood and talking about everything and nothing. Sometimes we could solve the world's problems, even if we didn't always agree on how (much like you and I, Jackie). She was a very unique person and could make me look at things differently. It's a shame to lose one of our favorite characters so early.
